| The HHPD, in conjunction with the Huber Heights City Schools, teaches a group of students from each school how to take part in Safety Patrol. The Safety Patrol Officers assist other students in safely crossing the streets to and from school. There is an awards ceremony each month for the “Safety Patrol Officer of the Month” from each school and a luncheon held in their honor.
