Lt. Tom Milligan Promotion

Effective immediately, Tom Milligan will assume the rank and position of Lieutenant. All responsibilities and authorities inherent to that position are hereby granted to him and he will report to the Deputy Chief.
In accordance to General Order 201, the assignment and position of Lieutenant and subordinate positions identified in the attached Organizational Chart shall stand as the organizational structure of the agency. The functional responsibilities are divided up between the primary sections and units within. For organizational accountability purposes, the following assignments apply:
• Administration
o Commanded by Lieutenant Mark Lightner
• Operations
o Commanded by Lieutenants Tom Milligan and Gerry Gustin
o Patrol Branch is the responsibility of Lieutenant Milligan
o Support Branch is the responsibility of Lieutenant Gustin
It should be understood that during this transitional period, some functional responsibilities may be shifted among Lieutenants; however, those functions and responsibilities fall within the rank of Lieutenant. In addition, although each Lieutenant is assigned certain functional responsibilities, it does not prohibit the Lieutenants from performing any role or function commensurate to their rank.
