Thefts from Vehicles

Recently we have experienced a increase in our thefts from vehicles. These have been occuring in our shopping centers and occurs during this time of year due to the holidays.
We remind all shoppers of several simple guidelines to follow to prevent this from happening to you.
1. Lock you vehicle
2. Never leave your purse or wallet in the vehicle.
3. Don't leave items purchased in view from the outside of the vehicle.
4. Be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious people
The Huber Heights Police Division has also stepped up patrols in these areas due to the increase. We have dedicated officers will the sole purpose in detering and preventing this type of crime from happening.
